Welcome To The Premier Golf Web Site
The Capital Region Golf Expo will kick off the 2016 golf season in style when local and regional vendors converge on the Saratoga Springs City Center March 25th and 26th, 2016. There will be retailers, local golf courses, manufacturers and golf vacation destinations and plenty of things to buy. The show will return to a three day event in 2017.

The show will feature an indoor driving range, three golf simulators and other interactive displays. There will be a giant silent auction where attendees can bid on rounds of golf, weekend getaways, clubs and more.

Attendees will receive over $150 in savings just for coming to the show, including a one year subscription to Golf Digest. Tickets for the event will go on sale on September 5th, 2015. The tickets will have several entertainment discounts on them and golfers can start using them right away.

According to Dan Spigner, the promoter, of Northeast Trade Show Promotions “the City Center offers an incredible trade show experience with a great location, hotel on site and a short walk to many fine restaurants giving the exhibitor and attendee plenty of entertainment options. We are excited to bring this event to Saratoga Springs”.

With dozens of courses close by, the Saratoga Springs area is home to many great courses. Another entertainment option is the Saratoga Casino and Raceway within a few miles. “This event will not only promote the great game of golf but the area as a vacation destination with an incredible number of entertainment options. We hope to draw attendees from a 50 mile radius to the show,” added Spigner.

For booth information you can visit their website at www.capitalregiongolfexpo.com or call Dan Spigner at 518-441-3182.

Northeast Trade Show Productions also has a show in the number one consumer market in the country with the Metropolitan Golf Expo at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in New Jersey, scheduled for February and has partnered with New England Golf Expos, a leading golf marketing firm with customers throughout the Northeast.

Northeast Trade Show Promotions will begin marketing vendors who register for the show using a vast data base of golfers in greater Albany and New England. With the horse racing season approaching we want to drive golfers from other states to our vendors.

Richy Werenski takes the title at The Big Break Palm Beaches

Richy Werenski has been dreaming about the PGA Tour since he was a kid spending countless hours at The Orchards in South Hadley practicing his game with no guarantees the effort would pay off. He dominated the junior circuit locally and had a chance of a lifetime to attend the Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy which he did for a couple of years.
In 2009 he told Russ Held during an interview that his goal was to play on the PGA Tour. At 17, Richy chose Georgia Tech thinking that would be his best path to the PGA Tour. Georgia Tech had many grads playing the Tour and several of the Tour players would come to the school to play with the Georgia Tech team. READ MORE or listen on the Golf Section above Episode #40.

Masters champions committed to Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship Langer, Lyle, O’Meara in field for Champions Tour’s third major

Belmont, Mass. – This June, at least three Masters champions will be seeking another major when they travel to the Boston area for the Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship at Belmont Country Club. Past Masters champions already committed to the championship, which will be played June 9-14, include defending champion Bernhard Langer, Sandy Lyle and Mark O’Meara.

Several former Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS champions teed it up at Augusta National last week, including Fred Couples, O’Meara and Langer. O’Meara had a particularly good week at the Masters, where he made the cut and closed with a 4-under 68 to tie for 22nd. He will look to add a second Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS title to his resume when he tees it up at Belmont Country Club.

“It was exciting to see our past champions compete in the Masters last week, especially our defending champion, Bernhard Langer,” said Joe Rotellini, executive director of the Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship. “We are proud to have such a strong field with so many former major champions at the Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship, and look forward to a thrilling tournament.”

The Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS is the third of five major championships on the Champions Tour and will feature approximately 81 of the game’s best players. With its standing as a major championship, the championship awards double Charles Schwab Cup points to the top-10 finishers.

The Champions Tour resumes its season this week at the Greater Gwinnett Championship this week, where Miguel Angel Jimenez will look to defend his title.
